Effective date: 2026-11-03
1. Copyright notice
© 2026 Ahmed Al-Tameemi and Junaid Muhi. All rights reserved.
2. What is protected
Konto's software and source code, its interface design and written content, its website, and the icons, illustrations, and animations made for Konto are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. Except as the Terms of Service or applicable law allow, you may not copy, change, distribute, sell, or build on them without written permission.
3. Your content
The records, photos, logos, notes, and other content you add to Konto remain yours. Using Konto does not transfer their ownership to us. You are responsible for having the right to add and share that content. How Konto handles it is described in the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.
4. Trademarks
The Konto name and logo identify Konto and may not be used in a way that suggests our endorsement without written permission. Apple, App Store, Google, Google Play, and other names belong to their respective owners. Mentioning them does not mean they endorse or sponsor Konto.
5. Third-party material
Konto includes open-source software, licensed fonts, and other third-party material. Each remains the property of its authors and is used under its own license, and this notice does not change those licenses.
An online barcode or product lookup can show public product information from the Open Facts family of services, UPCitemdb, Datakick, Wikidata, Open Library, and MusicBrainz. That information and its images remain subject to each source's own license and terms. Open Facts data is made available under the Open Database License, and its product images under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license.
6. Reporting a copyright concern
If you believe material in Konto or on its website infringes your copyright, write to us using the contact below and include:
- the work you believe is being infringed;
- where the material appears in Konto or on its website;
- your name and how to contact you; and
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized and that your report is accurate.
We review reports and may remove or disable access to material where appropriate. Records kept only on a person's own device are not visible to us. Do not send passwords, verification codes, or private accounting records.
